Medicare is the federal health insurance program for people who are 65 or older, certain younger people with disabilities, and people with End-Stage Renal Disease (Permanent kidney failure requiring dialysis or a transplant, sometimes called ESRD). The main coverage has two parts, Part A and Part B.
Medicare Part B Medical Insurance
Medicare Part B covers medically necessary services or supplies that are needed to diagnose or treat your medical condition and that meet accepted standards of medical practice. You pay nothing for most preventive services if you get services from a health care provider who accepts Medicare.
Your cost for Part B
- Monthly Premium $135.50 (Higher depending on your income)
- Annual deductible $185.00
- After annual deductible is met, you pay 20% of all Medicare Approved expenses
Part B Covers
- Preventive Services, including annual wellness exam
- Laboratory test, including X-Rays and blood work
- Medical Equipment including wheelchair and hospital beds
Don’t want you to miss out!
The Medicare Annual Enrollment Period (AEP) is open from October 15th to December 7th.
